PartyDey payments
How PartyDey handles event payments and settlement
PartyDey uses Paystack-powered payment flows. It is not an unlimited instant-cash pool, and event funds should not be described as bypassing payment-provider verification or settlement rules.

Checkout and payment confirmation
Guests can complete an applicable event payment from a PartyDey event flow. PartyDey records provider references and payment state so successful payments can be connected to the relevant guest or event submission.
The platform includes idempotency protections around payment operations so retries can be handled without intentionally creating duplicate business actions.
Host settlement
PartyDey's current event settlement architecture uses Paystack split-settlement infrastructure. Hosts configure payout details and the host share follows the configured provider settlement flow and Paystack timelines. PartyDey does not promise unrestricted instant access to every payment the moment a guest pays.
Group payments
PartyDey supports group payment preparation, initiation, and confirmation flows. A group checkout can keep beneficiary information and the shared payment intent connected instead of forcing the host to reconcile unrelated transfers manually.
Payment recovery
If a Paystack payment succeeds but the guest leaves the flow or the local event record does not finish syncing, PartyDey has a recovery flow that can verify the provider reference and restore the relevant PartyDey payment journey when the reference is valid.
PartyDey also exposes recovery tooling to operations staff so interrupted payment journeys can be inspected rather than silently lost. The dedicated payment-recovery guide documents the guest-facing recovery steps and the limits of what can be recovered.
Refunds and disputes
PartyDey includes payment status handling for refunds and disputes and operational workflows for investigating payment issues. The existence of those controls does not remove Paystack, bank, or card-network rules that may apply to a transaction.
